Santa María de Iquique: el último recurso de los dirigentes

Al estudiar los documentos sobre la huelga de 1907 en la pampa salitrera e Iquique, hay un dato que permanece semi-oculto: la reunión del cónsul norteamericano con dos de los principales dirigentes. Mi hipótesis busca encontrar un raciocinio a tal hecho, apoyándome en informaciones proporcionadas por los protagonistas mismos.

When we study the documentation about the strike of 1907 in the nitrate fields and Iquique, there is a piece of information that remains hidden: the meeting of the American Consul with two of the principal leaders of the movement. My hypothesis tries to find a logical answer to that fact, and I find support in informations given by the protagonists themselves.
